Guide Services

Expert guides. Colorado's finest tailwaters. Every drift matters.

Our guides fish the South Platte, Eleven Mile Canyon, Arkansas River, and Dream Stream year-round. They know every run, every run and every drift, every drift. Whether you're learning to cast or chasing your personal best, we'll get you there.

All guides are AMFF-certified and fish these waters weekly. When we recommend a fly, we've caught fish on it.

Guides Who Live It

Our guides aren't seasonal hires — they're full-time anglers who fish these rivers 200+ days a year. They know which runs produce in which conditions, and they'll put you in the right spots.

Every guide carries a AMFF certification, a CPR card, and the knowledge that only comes from time on the water.

FAQs

What do I need to bring?
Wear layers — Colorado mornings can be cold even in summer. Bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses (critical for sight fishing), a hat, and wading boots if you own them. Lunch is included on full-day trips. We'll handle the rest: flies, tippet, net, and guidance.
Do I need experience to book a guided trip?
Not at all. Our guides work with complete beginners through experienced anglers. When you book, let us know your experience level and we'll tailor the day accordingly — whether that means casting instruction from scratch or targeting specific lies on a technical stretch.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 48 hours notice for cancellation with a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the 50% deposit unless we can rebook your date. Weather is never a reason to cancel — Colorado weather changes fast and our guides know how to fish in it. If conditions are genuinely unfishable (rare), we'll reschedule at no charge.
Do you provide gear if I don't have my own rod?
Yes. We can provide a complete rod, reel, and line setup for guests who don't own gear. There is a small rental fee for loaner equipment. Let us know when booking. If you have your own setup, bring it — your guide will be happy to evaluate your rig and help you optimize it for the water we're fishing.
When should I book? How far in advance?
For summer dates (June–August) we recommend booking 3–4 weeks out. Weekends fill especially fast. Fall is our favorite time of year and books quickly too — September and October dates are always popular. Winter and early spring often have same-week availability. Call us and we'll find a date that works.
