Make Them Last

Rinse After Every Use
Always rinse your waders and boots thoroughly with fresh water before leaving the river. This is your single most important tool in preventing the spread of invasive species like Didymo (rock snot) between watersheds.

Dry Before Storage
Hanging waders inside-out in a well-ventilated space (not in direct sun) dramatically extends their lifespan. Even premium GORE-TEX membranes degrade faster when stored damp — don't let moisture sit inside the neoprene bootie.

Inspect Seams Regularly
A slow seam leak caught early is a $15 fix with Aquaseal. Caught late, it's a $500 pair of waders retired before their time. Run your hand along all taped seams once a month during season — feel for soft spots or bubbling tape.

We do wader repairs in-store. Bring in leaking waders for a free leak test at either location — Colorado Springs or Woodland Park. Minor repairs done same day when possible.
